Forget Bolf, Let's Talk Frolf: The Disc Golf Thread

For a 4" hole, I guess you'd need something like this, which apparently attaches to a "masonry saw". And apparently, any bit you'd want for rock should be diamond tipped.

    Round 2 out west

This tip by JT Miller was pretty unreal.

So your buddy was able to make a sleeve sized hole in a boulder with a battery powered drill? I wouldn't have thought that was possible. I figured anything capable of drilling through rock wouldn't be portable, and might even be on an industrial tool level.

Thanks guys. I like the rebar loop idea, RHF, although those bases are kinda ugly. We were also worried about the relocation aspect for the future. Fortunately, in the planning stages for our effort, I was able to learn that we won't have to commit to specific pad or basket locations ahead of...

Forget Bolf, Let's Talk Frolf: The Disc Golf Thread

I recently moved to a new town in B.C., and although I'm on the extended DL with an arthritic hip awaiting replacement, I decided to join our newly minted local club, which just incorporated as a non-profit. As has been my long term plan wherever I've lived, I began pursuing potential course...

    4.1 - Easter Funday

They showed a stat on the post game show that said, so far, the Sox are throwing 4 seam fastballs at the lowest percentage in the majors. We will see if this is a trend that holds over the long-term, but it may be a change in strategic direction brought about by Bailey.

Did SoSH ever settle on a nickname for him? I like Spanky, or Greasy Reese.

    MALCOLM GO...to jail

I thought when you went to jail you couldn't pass Go. Or collect $200.

Revised contract predictions for Snell and Montgomery

This is where we will have to disagree. The list of highest contracts ever given out to pitchers is littered with albatrosses. There are probably more horrible contracts on this list than players who lived up to them. And of the top 3 on the list, none will be able to start the season. Only 2...

If You Want Big Air, Pull My Finger - Ski and Ride 23-24

It's cheaper, drier snow, and lots of fun in the Okanagan. Apex, Big White, Silver Star, or Sun Peaks up in Kamloops are all great BC options. Or Red, Whitewater, or Revelstoke if you can drive a few hours more. I've lived in B.C for going on 15 years, and I've skied one day at Whistler. I...

Lucas Giolito has an elbow issue.

Didn't you hear they're bringing Heinz Ketchup back? This just shows how far this ownership group is wiling to go put the best product on the tube steak.

If You Want Big Air, Pull My Finger - Ski and Ride 23-24

I would love to be able to tell you! However, neither my wallet, nor my trashed 56 year old hip are up to it. I'll see if they can also replace my wallet when they do my hip! What's on the menu in the Selkirks and up near Smithers? I know both areas well. I was never able to realize my dreams...

If You Want Big Air, Pull My Finger - Ski and Ride 23-24

Have you checked these guys out before? A friend of mine in Kelowna and his family run it. You have to heli in from Valemount (not exactly near much), but you could drive there in ~ 6 hours from Calgary or Edmonton. Basically it is located on the top of the Continental Divide above Jasper...

Stacy Wakefield has passed away from cancer

Blessings and peace to the Wakefield family. As someone who lost his Dad to pancreatic cancer in my teens, in a span of 6 months, it hurts to hear this and think of how those kids have had their world shattered and turned inside out in the last year.
