    I’m really not sure it’s than interesting consider Dalbec is an unusable baseball player. He has had his chances, he can’t hit baseballs. Hasn’t hit them at the major league level in 3 years. It should be over for him.

    The upgrade from Dalbec to Cooper might be 4+ wins. It’s not much different than acquiring and all star when you factor on the replacement value. Always made sense. Red Sox are lucky someone of his caliber is available, frankly.

    Hickey cannot catch. The Soxprospects guys have been saying this for 2 years. Getting him first base reps has always made sense. Far from moronic, especially given the lack of first base options in the high minors.

    Is this really true though? Rafaela might be a zero with the bat which would make Durans center field ability very important. Abreu is a true platoon player who can really play a competent centerfield.
