What excuse can that ref make? He’s right there and neither the foot nor ball ever are close to out.
The foot was sort of close, but I still agree, these guys miss so many obvious calls it's really confusing.

I guess we can only assume in general the speed of the game makes it nearly impossible to ref well. Otherwise, wouldn't they be about to find a couple dozen people to do it half decently?

I have a lot of sympathy for refs, but not sure how you miss a guy stepping out or not when you're right on the line lookin at it.
I said the same. I reminds me of when MLB umpire Tim McClelland said that the reason he blew a call was that “In my heart, I felt the runner left the base early.”

Nurse not getting Embiid any rest in the second half is terrible coaching. He's completely cooked right now.

This Knicks team reminds me of some of those overachieving high seed Celtics teams under Stevens before the talent started flowing.

Brunson is better than IT (and less of an obvious target on D), but aside from him they have so little offensive firepower.

Lol, it does feel like Avery Bradley should be on the Knicks.

They are all pretty gassed right? Such a physical and intense game the whole way

What on earth was Embiid doing on that defensive possession picking up Brunson at full court?

Embiid has had nothing for the last 4+ minutes of this one. Others have said it, but he obviously needed at least a short break in the second half and didn’t get it.

Don't see the 76ers coming up with 6 points in the next five minutes, much less fifty-five seconds.

Philly playing terribly on both ends down the stretch. Oubre bringing the ball up (?!?!? wyd Nick???) and taking an early in the clock three followed by Embiid switching off Brunson when nobody was rotating...you can't survive playing in the playoffs like that.

I love how Embiid playing full-court defense on a PG completely messed up his team's defense, leading to a short floater by the opposing team's best player.

Legit, one of the most destructive defensive efforts by a single player on a play all season.

Hard to see, but based on the direction of the swipe and the physics of where the ball went.... seems like it sorta of had to go off Maxey there

Oh no, not another one these insane endings to a great game like the Lakers one earlier this season.

This is obvious, let's go.
