A late period goal would be lovely here…

To be clear, a late BRUINS goal…

Survived the 12-2 onslaught (and 16-4 in faceoffs). Now gather yourselves boys and proceed to steamroll the miserable turds known as "the leafs."

Well, despite playing like dog shit, they’re tied. I’ll take it, all things considered.

Can’t play much worse. Tied. I’ll take it.

Didn’t grasp benching Beecher either. Bad night at the dot happens. Kid was good.

1-1 is amazing considering that period... so yay? Can't play most of the game in your own zone and hope to win...

I hope someone is giving a locker room speech that gets the Bs back on track. Clean sheet of ice. Win face offs, make passes, score goals.

Man horrible period but the goal was enormous. Time to wake up and play in their zone.

Also the ice is apparently awful.

Domi had taken 5 faceoffs all series. With Matthews out, he seems to be the designated taker in the offensive zone, and he's clobbering them. Zacha's 0-5, Coyle is 2-5. Domi is 10-0 and it feels like all of them were in the offensive zone. Coyle won one on the Leafs' power play against Tavares I think, which was big, but Domi alone feels like he's contributed to 3 extra minutes in the Bruins' end. Zacha needs to step it up. It's too much possession.

I take solace that this is one of those games that if they were on the other side of it they would find a way to lose, so hopefully Torotno does the same.

Boston has a man advantage but every second of that PP, Toronto had two guys to the puck to Boston's one, except the one stretch where one Maple Leaf held the puck for like 20 seconds against two Bruins in the Bruins' zone.

Just awful so far.

Felt like they only blew the whistle when it looked like a potential break. If that had just been a puck at center ice, probably they don't call that.
