Team just doesn’t have a second gear when it comes to intensity. Far less accomplished Bruins teams could at least rise to occasions. This one doesn’t get too high or too low, which seems to be a good recipe for regular season horror movie monster plodding inexorability. But they’ve just got no ability to elevate.
The B's are a middling, if not below average possession team. When their skills (and skill guys like Pastrnak) are off on a particular night, they're completely unable to make any kind of offensive plays.
It's primarily a personnel/depth issue IMO. This team has done well, but Bergeron's retirement was still a massive loss.
Double minor for being fucking lazy at the blue line and then retaliating against his opponent instead of himself.
Looked like a tiny cut on his chin. Probly got there from him scratching himself with his glove when he went down after getting hit in the shoulder.
Honestly, it’s on the PK, when they are completely fucking required to play with focus and effort and intensity.
Yea but that’s the smallest cut I’ve ever seen in a hockey game and we didn’t see it until after he scratched it for 10 seconds right after it happened
Danton Heinen and Charlie Coyle are solid possession players. Heinan is out which messes with the lines somewhat and Coyle seems “meh” so far tonight. Without possession in the Ozone, Monty’s quality shots over quality shots does get work as well. Also Toronto is doing a good job of blocking shots
