I really think Toronto's two biggest advantages were faceoffs and team speed, and I don't think Florida enjoys either of those advantages over the Bruins. They hit hard and are aggressive, but are never a full step ahead of the Bruins the way Toronto was able to be at times.

Florida could win this series, for sure, but I can't believe NONE of the national people picked the Bruins to win, or even go 7 (besides McDonough).
Yes, its outrageous, especially since the Bruins were 4-0 against them during the year. I saw 13 predictions and only one said Bruins. In 7. Can't recall who.

Been at a work function following along on my phone on the DL. Can't wait to go back and read thru the thread.

SVP interviewing Carlo on ESPN is awesome right now. I don't watch ESPN much anymore but it's nice to see SVP still full of joy.

Is Montgomery evolving? He showed a lot of urgency with that timeout in the third. And it worked... Florida was surging before, and then the Bruins stopped them cold after the timeout.

I said the same thing in the series thread. I don’t get why everyone just assumed the bruins were going to get trucked by Florida. The regular season didn’t show that. It showed two teams that fight tooth and nail, and I expect a ralot close series.
Yet everyone in media was talking like “sweep city” “no chance for the bruins” etc

California. Duh.
That was a big boy win. It looked like it was going to be a rough night early, but Sway kept them in it until the goals came then they clamped down. Watching Florida not even be able to get a shot off for a few minutes when down 3 was beautiful. And they even looked good in the 6-on-5!

I did not have Lohrei, Wotherspoon, and Carlo as the most valuable in my predictions. Huge step-up for them.
