    Round 2 Bruins-Panthers

I don't know about a lane to get it to him, but Pasta was wide open at the back post. That may have distracted Bobrovski even if Lohrei didn't actually have room to get it across.

    Game 1 - The Payback

The one I saw was Steve Levy.

    Round 1 out west

Faksa put the Stars back ahead early in the 3rd. Seeing-eye backhand shot that changed directions at least once.

    Round 1 Bruins-Leafs

I was thinking more in the sense of not waiting for it to settle, though the other side of that is that he may want to just shoot anyway because he doesn't have time for it to settle. It was just an idle thought, anyway.

    Game 7 - We Win

I think Lindholm was trying to play to Pasta behind Toronto's defense, absolutely. I just don't think it was planned for it to bounce out in front of the net (it looked like a normal cross-corner dump initially), and I don't think Pasta was even playing it that way originally. He was initially...

    Round 1 Bruins-Leafs

Sort of related to that, in the slow-mo on Lindholm's tying goal, you could see the puck was up on edge when he shot it, and I was wondering if that might even be on purpose to try to get a tumbling shot that might move unexpectedly on Samsonov.

    Game 7 - We Win

I think Pasta was driving in to forecheck (try to get possession) and just reacted when it took a bounce out in front of the net.

    Game 7 - We Win

I saw them get a hug on the ice.

    Game 7 - We Win

Better off the skate, if that goes through there's a Leaf wide open at the far post.

    Game 7 - We Win

Not a trip, looked like he toe-picked.

May: Red Sox discussion, observations and trend tracking...AKA It's not all about the Benjamins

That stretch from the 10th to the 31st looks brutal. I count 21 games in 22 days.

    ECQF Game 4: 4/27/24 @ Tarranna

Revs were playing too, but they got smoked by Miami.

2024 NFL Draft 4th through 7th round gamethread WITH SPOILERS

There was something on boston.com yesterday repeating this and also saying that the Giants made an offer. The story said it strengthened the Pats' conviction in drafting Maye that O'Connell and Daboll wanted him (and apparently wanted him badly).

    That was pretty.

What on earth was Samsonov doing on that play?

    2020-23 College Hockey thread

There were at least two pretty obvious (from my seats) trips on BU that weren't called. I stand by my statement. (FWIW, it's not an officiating style that I care for, because I think in most cases it benefits the less skilled team.)

    2020-23 College Hockey thread

I felt like Michigan played a lot better than the score would indicate. They had a lot of looks from high-danger areas and missed the net. BC was very opportunistic, which I guess should be expected given the offensive talent on the team. I'll be interested to see how the next game goes...

    2020-23 College Hockey thread

They let a LOT go on both sides. It was a Big 10 crew that had also officiated the Big 10 championship game, and per my friends from Michigan, didn't call much of anything in a game between UM and MSU (where both teams normally will take quite a few). My armchair speculation is that an ECAC...
