    I liked Chris Sale. Loved having him on the Sox except for the whole injury issue, which, to be fair, was a dominant theme during his tenure in Boston. I have no ill will towards him. Except for tonight. I hope he gets shelled.

    Don’t get me wrong - I think they’ll need Tatum to play well. But I’m not sure he will need to “go off”.

    They’re 5-1 in the playoffs so far without Tatum needing to go off. There may be a few games where he does go off but it’s not yet clear to me that they’ll *need* him to go off, the way they’re constructed.

    I am currently in Rome and could not watch the game as it was being played at 2:00 Rome time. Can’t wait to watch the replay. But can anyone tell me why Samsonov was in goal instead of Woll for Toronto? Looks like he played well but still… Woll had been amazing for them. What a win. Holy crap.

    Seeing all those people injured....someone is going to complain that the Sox lack depth, and uh, yeah, they lack depth when essentially an entire roster has been injured. No team can really withstand this kind of thing.
