    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

The Heat were terrible and missing their most important player. The Cavs aren't as bad, but they are extremely shallow and also missing one of their most important players. Yes, Boston is missing Porzingis, but even so the talent disparity is drastic between MIA, CLE, and BOS

    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

It is resulting in blowout wins because the opponents are pretty terrible. If Tatum plays the same way in the finals against a MIN or OKC or some real team, his play may be more of a problem (if it continues which I expect it won't because he is too good to continue to shoot this poorly).

    (2) New York Knicks vs (6) Indiana Pacers - 2024 EC Second Round

That says a lot though. He has been terrible on both sides of the ball. Not terrible to have him as your 8th man I guess

Siakam 14-32 from the free throw line in these playoffs. Oof May start seeing hack-a-Siakam

He missed the playoffs his rookie year and then last year when they intentionally tanked. He has had some pretty trash teams

    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

I have done no such thing. I have only posited the question here and offered an opinion that it is pretty damn close and not an automatic that Tatum is better

    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

I am not adverse to that conversation. Jayson Tatum is an incredible basketball player. I fully acknowledge that and agree that he does many things that don't show up in the boxscore. I just find some the love a bit over the top when it resorts to pointing out how amazing it is that he cut to...

    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

Good god. He cut to the basket. Something that just about every damn player in the league would do in that situation. Al was the one who made the good play in this clip more so than Tatum

    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

In that clip it is completely accurate.

    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

I mean that could have been anyone in that video though. That is just bad transition defense. Pritchard could have been cutting through the lane on that play and the defense would react the same.

    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

Maybe. They did shoot only 29% in the Orlando series.

Jayson Tatum's Rise to the Top

That pic of him being triple teamed is for sure an instance where he has moved the ball well. However, it's not like he was double or tripled team every single time down the floor. He settled for too many turnarounds and had a bad shooting night and an OK defensive game. It happens.

    2024 NBA Awards

Giannis should have gotten more love, but I can definitely see why Luka got more votes than those other guys. Like it or not, you take Luka off Dallas and they are a terrible, bottom 10 team in the league. Take Ant or Tatum off theirs and those teams still make the playoffs

    Derrick White, playoff Alpha

Of course. I think that was a joke
  17. the moops

    Tatum or Ant?

Don't think it is that simple at all. There is a world where Tatum is the answer for all those, and a different bizarro world where Ant is the answer

    Derrick White, playoff Alpha

Going forward I would rather D White on his max than J Brown on his max

    Tatum or Ant?

I don't know. Seems pretty decent comp for 22 year old Jordan
