I can’t find it again now but someone posted that in the last 12 seasons, NY is 5-0 on Opening Day when they homer in the 1st, 0-7 when they don’t. So we’ll know early!

Also lost in the wild ending is this great Verdugo catch in the 7th. Altuve very likely scores to tie it if this falls in, 15 percent catch probability.

Houston's normal close late game bullpen deployment was messed up by the first game of Brayan Abreu's two game suspension from hitting Adolis Garcia in the ALCS. I think Pressly would normally get the 8th in between Abreu and Hader (although it also might depend on matchups), Abreu is suspended one more game.
