    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

I mean people should probably check Bronny's before they draft him.

An Ode to the Fallen: 2024 - 2025 Offseason Thread

Team age doesn't matter as much as contract construction now in the second apron era. You can't wait around and aggregate contracts to get a larger contract. So if you are going to add stars you need to either trade for star or do it before your young talent gets its second max. Mobley is due...

Brunson Mitchell would have similar problems that Garland Mitchell have. The Knicks should stay away from Mitchell and I am not sure how Randle, Mobley, and Allen would work unless you were trading Allen as well. Edit - With Butler, I think Cleveland is ready to challenge now. I think Butler...

If that is all you are getting for Donovan, you are already dead. A guy like Butler can be paired with Mobley and Garland and be competitive in the East, hell that could be a East finalists.

Why add a step? Edit - Picks are a depreciating assets. Young players can be appreciating assets however they need playing time. When you are team like Cleveland with framework of a playoff team with 3-4 set starters, younger players are less of an asset.

A Dream of 2025, What is Going Right and Looks like the Sox can Build On

Step One. They need a bat. In order to structure that with the way the team is built right now you need a DH spot open to give you options. Yoshida has to be upgraded.

Why does Cleveland want young players and draft picks? They have Mobley and Garland. If you are Cleveland you are looking for a strong wing. Butler, Ingram, or Bridges would be who I would come out asking for.

Jayson Tatum's Rise to the Top

His defense has been outstanding. He spent games just styming Mobley and then switching onto Mitchell, making mitchell give up the ball. I love Tatum on the center and I wonder if they are practicing that for the Nuggets.

This is the time to try Queta or Tillman.

    Round 2: Celtics vs Cavs

He does not play good defense. He is good at staying within the rotation but he is awful at getting his hands up. There is a reason he is the only rotation player with a negative plus minus these playoffs.

They need to find something at back up center besides Kornet. He is offering nothing.

If I am Brad Stevens, I am kidnapping Kornet at half time. Christ Joe, it isn't working and it is going to get worse. Use anyone else.

    2024 NBA Draft

I don't think you want to trade out of the 30th if you are the Celtics. You get a three year contract at just above minimum with rights after three years. With the second apron, I think the last pick becomes more valuable than 2nd round contract since you can't aggregate contracts anymore
