No OG is pretty massive. No, have to give credit to the Knicks at this point. They are far superior. 5 max.

unreal.Rick Carlisle great coach.
TJ McConnell standing on the sideline watching Brunson rip the Pacers hearts out.
This is absolute madness. Like what, your dude is out of breath? I'm shocked by this coaching.Rick Carlisle great coach.

Better conditioned for the 4Q for sure. No, have to give credit to the Knicks at this point. They are far superior. 5 max.
Josh Hart playing five complete games in a row seems not all that smart.. but I guess we'll see.The remaining healthy Knicks might be better off staying in NYC. Game 5 is Tuesday May 14th.
What an effort, but they are running out of decent players. These hamstring strains and sore feet might not be random.
The seas are parting for the Celtics if they can take advantage...
Brunson initiates a lot of it but there's usually an enormous amount of contact between him and whoever is defending him. The Brunson / McConnell battle was amazing, they were basically riding each other back and forth across the court.Must be nice to get a foul call any time you want one.. Brunson gets a ridiculous whistle.
This still screams 7 games for me. Knicks are going to have trouble winning a game in Indy without OG.I picked Knicks in 5, but with OG injury looking bad, I can see this going 6 or 7, even down 0-2.
And if OG is out against the Celtics and KP can come back, I don't think the Knicks have much chance. Of course, lots of other injuries can take place between now and then, but OG out with the Knicks already thin is probably a death blow to their championship hopes.
Yeah.. I agree with the last part.. McConnell not playing is just dumb. I think Carlisle is coaching like Haliburton is all right. Pacers have also had most of the calls go against them down the stretch the last two games.. any crew Marc Davis is on absolutely sucks.Brunson initiates a lot of it but there's usually an enormous amount of contact between him and whoever is defending him. Carlisle being too zen to break glass and use McConnell in finishing lineups has lost them at least 1 game here in my opinion
Lowe said on his podcast that Brunson was averagin 1.6 points per possession on isolations. I'm sure that number didn't go down after tonight.Carlisle being too zen to break glass and use McConnell in finishing lineups has lost them at least 1 game here in my opinion
He can leave Haliburton out there, McConnell should be in for Nembhard anywayMcConnell not playing is just dumb. I think Carlisle is coaching like Haliburton is all right.
Did you see their 2nd unit in the first half? They are playing to win a playoff series and have to hope that they survive it physically. It’s their only chance.Josh Hart playing five complete games in a row seems not all that smart.. but I guess we'll see.
Like the basketball or the equestrian procreation?Brunson - McConnell was like 2 ponies in heat. I'd watch that again
Why does it have to be one or the other?Like the basketball or the equestrian procreation?
Pretty nuts. I don't if it surpasses what Durant did in the 2021 playoffs in games 5-7 against Milwaukee (48 minutes in game 5, 40 minutes in game 6, 53 minutes in game 7) but still crazy.Josh Hart is the first player to play all 48 minutes two consecutive playoff games since (of course) Thib’s Bulls.

They aren’t really pushing it though. Hart played B2B 45-min games last month when he avg 42 mph during the month. He’s conditioned for it and so are the Knicks. Which team looked more spent down the stretch tonight? Those were big minutes for Hartenstein but that was due to Robinson being injured and Achiuwa being such a downgrade. They don’t really have a choice but to go close to 48 if they want to win these games to advance. It’s weird that Josh Hart is playing every minute. I mean, he’s fine, but 40 min ppg in the second half / playoffs? 39 minutes for Hartenstein? It’s kind of wild, but I guess now is the time to push it.
Yeah, you are right. Hart has been playing 40+ mins per game for months now. And the Knicks certainly seemed to have a lot more energy than the Pacers down the stretch- will be curious to see how they look on the road. Can they keep playing at this intensity as the minutes pile up? If they’ve been doing it for months, I guess? They aren’t really pushing it though. I think they are in trouble the next two games in Indiana but they only need to take care of their home court in this series to advance.Yeah, you are right. Any 7 game result is good for us. Let them have a death match.I think they are in trouble the next two games in Indiana but they only need to take care of their home court in this series to advance.
The second of his two bricks in the 4th was completely non-competitive, too — he looked totally psyched out. At that point the Pacers were down 5 and 0-5 from the FT stripe in the 4th.Siakam 14-32 from the free throw line in these playoffs. Oof
May start seeing hack-a-Siakam
Heh, practice at midnight!Thibs is gonna have the team run up the stairs of the Empire State Building before boarding the flight to Indiana.
Not enough superlatives can be thrown Brunson’s way. One of those speechless performances. I do wonder however what his real injury is and how he will respond tomorrow once the adrenaline has worn off. They kept talking about “right foot” when he was clutching his left thigh so gamesmanship seems more likely than not from where I’m videoing this from.Brunson a +26 in 32 minutes, so impressive.
The Knicks are going to be pretty significant underdogs on the road in the Indiana games of 6-7 points. NBA teams do play differently with the energy of their fans in the playoffs even when travel is equal.Pacers suck. If you can't beat a playoff team who is half hobbling and half injured, you suck. Knicks are gonna lose a game, maybe 2, but I don't think this series is really in doubt.
This forum continues to underrate Hart, DiVincenzo, and Hartenstein though. It's an incredibly formidable top 4.
Impressive, so Knicks were -17 (net +43!) when he was off the court and many here were saying that wasn’t good enough for the Pacers and they were correct.Brunson a +26 in 32 minutes, so impressive.
Normally I’d point out McConnell plays against a lot of bench players during Haliburton’s rest, but the Knicks don’t play a bench, so this matches my eye test.Through the first two games Pacers +19 with McConnell on the floor, -32 without him.
