I don’t agree with the posters talking about benching the Bruins’ best goal scorer and one of their faster skaters in 3-3 OT of all situations, and I don’t know what you’re seeing in Twitter, but he’s allowed to be awesome and otherworldly and still do lazy things from time to time. He’s not been homogenized. Ovechkin has 830 goals, hits the bejesus out of people, and still has done meme-ably lazy things from time to time. Pasta gets careless and mentally fucked sometimes, possibly because there are occasions in which he does something so ridiculously insane that he tries stuff with a relatively lower degree of likelihood of success, often when he’s moving more slowly.
Yes, after setting aside all the things I was disagreeing with, I agree with you. ;)

That goal was equally on Marchand as it was Pasta. I have no idea what the fuck Marchand was doing there, he's drifting towards the other end behind all 5 other guys while Vegas has full possession. Pasta clearly thought Marchand was coming back for D help so was trying to just slow Stone down.

Also Pasta busted his ass to get back after he realized it, but it was too late. Anyone thinking Pasta is lazy is immediately disqualified from having an opinion in my eyes. It was a bad play sure (though not entirely his fault) but not a lazy one.

Thankfully there's no 3 on 3 in OT In the playoffs.
Yeah. I’ve changed my mind on it a bit since I’ve seen the replays. At the game the action was coming right at me so I only saw the Pasta part.

Marchand really is out there just in space doing nothing once he peels off his man really and his only hope is pasta gets the poke check and Marchand gets a breakaway.

Pasta left the ice about 2 seconds after the goal slamming his stick down the tunnel in frustration.

On a side note, three road games for me this year and three OT losses.

It's weird, but it feels like if they had come out of these three games going 1-1-1 and gotten 3 points it would have felt like a successful stretch. Instead it feels kind of bad because of the way it went down. Colorado and Vegas are pretty close to the class of the league, and taking both of them to OT on their home ice should feel like a success.

I think it’s been a good trip. 3 games in 4 days on the road, 2 games against top 10 teams in the league. They also have dealt with injuries along the way. Get 2 tonight and I’ll be happy.
