Hard to get past the stat that this Den team hasn't beaten a team with 47 or more wins in the playoffs

It would appear that the Wolves are a bad matchup for them. And eventually playing from behind every game was bound to bite Denver in the ass.
it's almost like the first 43 minutes matter and the endless jizzing over "crunchtime" is overdone

Would rival the Nuggets run last year
Yeah, no asterisks on a championship and good for Denver, but a lot of people are re-evaluating them now.

This is why I try not to buy into the "Defending Champs!" thing in picking teams. Winning a title seems to get teams overrated, as people start to forget how much of a run is contingent. m

The nuggets look soft as hell. So much of this ass kicking is just effort on the glass and drives.

Malone needs to sit Murray the rest of the way, then blame it on the injury after the game, because he can't come back in.

Timberwolves are beginning to Timberwolve. This game is not over….not even close to being over if Minnesota continues to stop playing.

If the coaches had 100 challenges tonight, there would probably be 100 overturned calls.

These refs are not even watching the game (both games just absolutely putrid).

Please start over with the officials, the training, the entire process Mr. Silver.

for someone with such size and leaping ability it’s remarkable mpj is really only good at one thing
Well, at least he’s not good at vehicular homicide, DUI, and betting on himself like his three knucklehead brothers, I guess?

Count me as those who will likely have to eat crow about the Nuggets. Have never seen Murray and Jokic look this sped-up/off. Minnesota’s activity on defense is a joy to watch.

It also feels like the first time a team has basically ignored Gordon when he's out of the paint... if you don't respect his shot you can just clog the lane which is making every drive a slog.

No but some are saying he is Jordanesque like Bob Ryan did.
And Reggie and Jamal were definitely intimating that he was Jordanesque all of game 1.

edit: don't think anyone has said he's better... but there def has been a lot of hyperbole flying around.

Aaron Gordon LOL! Shotboating between the legs the way this night has gone….not the best look. Malone almost flatlined on the bench after that.

Gordo has not had a good night thanks in part to how the Wolves ignore him in certain situations. They’re playing very good situational defense. But yeah the between the legs thing was wtf
