That's what I'm thinking. No more gappers like Nix -- go for the gold. Could be the interior rush presence missing since... Mike Wright?

I don't think he ever played a full season in college. Why should the pros be different? I'm getting flashbacks to Ken Sims here...Ed Hillel said:There's a chance he never plays a full season in this league. I dont know.
More talented? I doubt that. More knee power? Yes.Eck'sSneakyCheese said:Not a good pick. Other more talented players available.

Seriously. What a prick.mpx42 said:Guess Bill's still not taking PK's calls.
You had him in the contest, too! So did gmogmo, bakahump, Sox Vindaloo, Red October, triniSox, and (.) (.) and (_!_)Mugsys Jock said:I'm a big fan of Easley. Think I'm the only guy who had him in our mock draft thread.
Of course, I had him in the second round....he would've been great there.

Injuries are cruel. If you play the what-if game, Easley would be a high first-round pick had he not been injured last season. When he was healthy, Easley has the type of speed and quickness that would make even Donald look pedestrian. He was the first man off the line of scrimmage on almost every play, able to use his speed both inside and outside at end. He had ferocious closing speed and a knack for reading the play instantaneously. But there's that injury. A torn ACL and medial meniscus in his right knee ended a magical 2013 season for Easley. He's now torn both ACLs. How he comes back is one of the draft's great unknowns.

Easley was medically cleared at the combine recheck two weeks ago. He said he was 80 percent healthy at his pro day.

Yeah, I'm fine with it. He may be Ras-I, or he may be a stud pass rusher, which is what this team really needs. I prefer this pick over a safe pick at position of less need.Bongorific said:They're going for it. They need beasts.
Kid's a beast.

BigSoxFan said:More talented? Not really. His big question mark is his health. The talent is there.
Yes, well now you're making a completely different argument.Eck'sSneakyCheese said:Talent without health is nothing. If he's Ras-I-Dowling or Pat Chung, how much does his "talent " matter?
Right. I hate Ray. He's a dick.SeoulSoxFan said:Ray Lewis: "I'm sold!" (on Easley).
I heard PK say a few years ago that BB has not talked to him since Spygate. PK says BB did not like how hard he was on him. PK has not visited the Pats training camp in years.mpx42 said:Guess Bill's still not taking PK's calls.

And Pat Chung? Talent? LOL.
