Could be a Jordan day today. We'll see.

Max is on quite the roller coaster. 4 bogey's and a double, 6 birdies through 15. Hope he get pick up one more on the last 3.

The USA feed is unacceptably choppy. It's like watching a video on dial up internet.

I know it's cliché at this point to dump all over golf coverage but this is another level of bad.

On the Open web stream they've got an announcer standing in line getting ice cream. I now want ice cream with a "flake" in it, as they say.

Whose feed are they using? The lost tee shots are hellannoying
No idea. I was looking around and the general theme seems to be an issue with FIOS and USA. Tough to tell though.

I just downloaded the USA app and am Chromecasting the main feed to my TV. It's much better but time will tell if it holds up.

Harman might come back to the field tomorrow. Dunno if he's been in the final group of a major before. He might thrive with the added the pressure, or he might wilt.
Harman has been in the final pairing of a major before, 2017 US Open at Erin Hills. Shot a 72 on Sunday and finished T2 behind Brooks.

We'll see what happens. The conditions are going to change and he's also going to have 99% of the crowd rooting for the other guy.

Also, my leaderboard sucks comment wasn't just Harman at the top. The chase pack is kind of underwhelming aside from Tommy. Gotta get to the -2's and -1's to find some real juice and those guys probably need help to have a chance.

Day is a nice story. Straka, Min Woo, Shub Sharma...meh.

Some fun groups going off early: Fowler, Scheffler and Adam Scott, Brooks and Cantly, even Paddy.

Not too bad a time here on the west coast. In my younger and more vulnerable years, I’d stay up and watch an hour or two. But I think I’m too old for that now.

What do folks think is the most likely outcome for Harman? Even money bet are you taking him or the field?

Vegas odds currently give him a 40% chance, which feels about right.

I am taking the field. Yesterdays round his putter was on fire and he chipped in. I just don’t think it’s ustainable for the weekend of a major for a player without a ton of experience. I think he shoots like +1/2 today and the field tightens going into tomorrow.

It’s out there today. Think that helps the trailing pack. Harder conditions would probably benefit Harman more.

Mrs E5 just informed me we are rooting for Fleetwood this weekend. Considering she's usually a Rahm-Rory fangirl, this is quite the change.
