I mean he did an 8 minute update. It’s not like he took 3 hours. A lot of GMs were interviewed last night. Part of the gig.Why is he doing a press conference while the draft is happening? Are they just closing down shop for the night?

Jets guys did it tooWhy is he doing a press conference while the draft is happening? Are they just closing down shop for the night?
You’re right, I walk back some of my histrionics. I just was hoping they would move up before the OT run, but who knows if that was even possible.People here have opinions about Caedean Wallace? Really? Be honest, when was the first time you ever heard of him? Also, how much have you seen of him?
That would have been an amazing question to ask in the press conference. I get Sean Payton or Kevin O'Connell doing a quick 5 minute interview between picks, but calling it quits for the night and talking to the media is a little weird. Why is he doing a press conference while the draft is happening? It was an 8 minute interview. They don’t have a pick until tomorrow. That would have been an amazing question to ask in the press conference. I’m makin’ a fuckin’ rulin’ on thisYou guys are getting a little crazy, bartender’s going to shut you off soon
Hoping for Johnny Wilson at 103. No idea if he makes itThis thread is falling apart because of goddamn Caeden Wallace.
On the plus side, it's looking like we'll have value sitting at 103 and 110.
KC has drafted multiple impact starters each of the last 4yrs. Not sure where you are coming up with terrible drafts. One year they didn't have a 1st and every year they were drafting late. 2020 Snead, Willie Gay Jr. 2021 Nick Bolton, Creed Humphrey Trey Smith, 2022 was bonkers, Trent McDuffie (traded from NE), George Karlaftis, Leo Chenal, Pacheco 2023 Rashee Rice. What is the massive reach? Wallace isn't, he was a 3rd/4th round guy most places, and once you get past like 50 the error bars on this stuff are pretty huge... and the league thinks differently.
As to KC.... why would you want to draft like KC? They have had 3 pretty terrible drafts out of the last 4? If they didn't have Mahomes they'd be a mess.
PHI.... meh, they go for the flashy picks, but honestly it's often more name than game, their defense was a mess last year and their best players are mostly trades or drafted years ago.
I want to draft like GB... take good players you believe in, don't worry about what other people think, develop and re-sign.
please don’tHoping for Johnny Wilson at 103. No idea if he makes it
He was asked that, no, he just jumped on and took like 4 or 5 questions then jumped off, said they are still monitoring how things fall and could jump in if they think it makes sense.

Still seems weird — but if that’s what they do, that’s what they do.Jets guys did it too
We've been asked to cut the attacks. I'm not getting into it with you anymore.right. Everyone doesn’t know shit.
I guess the difference is some people just say “hey this is based off of the rankings” while other people are snarky and just outright dicks. Just like you, who somehow called me a fucking asshole out of all of this
Check Cellar-door at post #609That would have been an amazing question to ask in the press conference. I get Sean Payton or Kevin O'Connell doing a quick 5 minute interview between picks, but calling it quits for the night and talking to the media is a little weird.
Edit: after further review there wasn't much difference after all. Nothing to see here!
Apologies. I read that as youve and not we’ve. AgreedWe've been asked to cut the attacks. I'm not getting into it with you anymore.
Let’s look at the upside. If we agree on the next pick then we KNOW it’s a home run (more than likely a whiff but we get the euphoria of a home run today)
I don't know shit about college football players beyond watching occasional games. But I do know what the Patriots need in a general sense and agreed, they addressed their top needs.Pats three biggest needs going into the draft:
QB - check
WR - check
OT - check
Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Pats do this in a draft and I’ve been following the team since 1976.
That’s a very good point. Can’t argue with the positional value process therePats three biggest needs going into the draft:

Next pick is someone I've definitely never heard of.Let’s look at the upside. If we agree on the next pick then we KNOW it’s a home run (more than likely a whiff but we get the euphoria of a home run today)
lol. If we both don’t know them, then let’s just agree it’s a home run for the vibesNext pick is someone I've definitely never heard of.
Yeah but I don't have a starting grade on him. This was a massive reach and imo a shitty pick. It might work out for him to be a low level LT or an average RT. I don't think so. I hate this pick. He was like 186 on the consensus board. Polk was a reach by a round. He is a reach by 2-3 rounds. What the fuck is going on tonight. So disappointed.our own @SMU_Sox had him rated 1 spot behind Kingsley if it makes you guys feel better
VERY interesting!Yeah but I don't have a starting grade on him. This was a massive reach and imo a shitty pick. It might work out for him to be a low level LT or an average RT. I don't think so. But everyone was just starting to get along againFuck Wolf. Two reaches. I like Polk enough to not be too mad about it but Wallace is criminal at 68. What are we doing?
Lmao. I was just cooling down. But everyone was just starting to get along again
I’m not just a degenerate.Maybe he was playing RT because Jets guy that got picked eleven was LT and he wasn’t as good as him. At this point, people don’t really know, we are just degenerates
I think you weren't talking into account that Wallace's brother was an "oyster scientist, or something".Yeah but I don't have a starting grade on him. This was a massive reach and imo a shitty pick. He looks like a thug to me.I think you weren't talking into account that Wallace's brother was an "oyster scientist, or something".
Wolf strikes me as pretty chalk/vanilla, so I'm surprised they are reaching. Still time for redemption in R4.
In other news, swallows were sighted in the San Capistrano area.TIp Reiman in the 3rd?
Man NFL boards are definitely all over the place this year compared to the media boards
Just catching up and had to stifle a laugh at this one.Dammit ... I wanted a flashy tackle
COnsensus board on O-line appears to be WILDLY off guys in the 40s to the 80s all went in the 60s, guys deep into the 100s went in the late 60s to 70s. I think the consensus just wildly underestimated the appetite across the league for O-line compared to other positons.Yeah but I don't have a starting grade on him.
