Kyrie and Harden chirping at each other and shoving each other
would that be the weakest fight ever?

1 shot so far. Have fun phillyEarly warning signs of another passive PG13 game — gets Gus on his hip then stops and passes.
Yeah I would have been down for weeks on thatomg how did that dude get right up? That looked AWFUL.
He also leapt into the air as if he were Superman and when the defender walked away fell to earth like the Greatest American Hero. What is Doris going on about? Kleber just suffered a freak injury. She was analyzing it like it was Zapruder footage.
Ha! Accurate.Does anyone why Jeff Green is wearing Paul George’s jersey tonight? That can’t be legal can it?
I was watching Kevin McHale highlights the other day and was kind of dreaming about what the NBA would be like if they just ditched the three pointer. One very annoying thing about the NBA in 2024:
Drive… get past your man… have a seam to the basket… but instead you pitch it out to the corner three guy. I mean, I understand the math. But dammit, the bucket is right there!
Kyrie says: hold my beerThis Clippers team seems about ready to throw in the towel.
Ha! Plus Harden playing defense sightings.Kyrie says: hold my beer
Who feels better?Kyrie says: hold my beer
Probably the team that’s at home and a game away from advancing. But the Mavs did seem to piss away a decent lead there.Who feels better?
a) Clippers overcoming a 15-pt lead to be tied?
b) Mavericks with Kyrie Doncic shooting 6-21 and 0-9 on threes to be tied?
And Harden seems hurt, yet it's still just a 10 point game. It feels like Dallas should be up by 25.Clips ain’t winning this. Doncic and Irving woke up.
Agreed — I keep looking at the score and wondering WTF is going onAnd Harden seems hurt, yet it's still just a 10 point game. It feels like Dallas should be up by 25.
Am I a bad person to kind of not mind if Kyrie Irving pulls a muscleWell, Kyrie coming alive certainly put the score where it felt like it should've been all along. Hard to be too upset at the Clippers on the court (no Kawhi means they shouldn't have had a chance), but George and Harden are 10-30.
I mean, he's shooting 19% from the field (8-42) since the start of game 2. He's not the reason they're going to lose, but he's been fucking awful this series. Is it Westbrook's fault?
I was mostly kidding... But the game fell apart when Westbrook tried to impose his will... So not completely kiddingI mean, he's shooting 19% from the field (8-42) since the start of game 2. He's not the reason they're going to lose, but he's been fucking awful this series.
Yeah I get that, but other than a few minutes at the end of the 1st half, Dallas dominated this game (if not always on the scoreboard). They generated good shot after good shot, while everything for LA seemed like a slog. It was just a matter of time before Luka or Kyrie got going, and it blew open once Kyrie caught fire.I was mostly kidding... But the game fell apart when Westbrook tried to impose his will... Paul george isnt a future anything other than future sixer or magic.More than anyone else, Paul George seems like an infuriating player to root for. Maybe it's because we've seen it before (when he's bad, he's the worst possible version of Tatum, super passive, frequently disappears, and won't stop settling for contested jumpers over physically inferior defenders), but he doesn't catch half the flack that the other future HOFers on their roster seem to get.
I don’t think it is coincidence that he’s been at his best when next to a megastar #1 option that he respects in LeBron and now Doncic. That seems like the sweet spot for his makeup. When Kyrie is motivated and engaged he’s really incredible to watch. He could have been a legend in Boston and probably leading the Celtics to their second or third title right now.
Bref has him at 97.9% likely to make the HOF. They've got 88 players at 90% or higher, and all but one (Larry Faust at 94.2%) are either in the HOF or are not yet eligible. 9x all-star, 6x all-nba, 4x all-defense, 2016 gold medal...he's in. Not the greatest honor considering their policy is to basically invite anyone, but he's definitely gonna get in.Paul george isnt a future anything other than future sixer or magic.
So was Durant not a megastar #1 option or did Kyrie not respect him?I don’t think it is coincidence that he’s been at his best when next to a megastar #1 option that he respects in LeBron and now Doncic. That seems like the sweet spot for his makeup.
Neither? There was no defined role in Brooklyn with those 3 all fighting for shots. The chemistry he had with LeBron and Doncic surrounded by willing role players was different than playing off the ball in Brooklyn having to share the backcourt w Harden. So was Durant not a megastar #1 option or did Kyrie not respect him?

I was reading the Athletic post mortem today with the argument to run it back with PG13. It's a conundrum as he's terrific and a version of this squad with a healthy Kawhi (similar to Philly words about Embiid) is still scary. Don't really see a better option. My biggest concern is PG has three young kids and he is from here. That might make him more inclined to stay.
So i need him go go full drake and deadbeat dad his way out of town
sort of? They were mostly old and while best in the regular season, they were all shown in playoffs to not even be playoff-competitive. So pretty easy to make case it was very deep division (no bad teams) but also thoroughly mediocreThe Pacific Division was the best division in the league this season by W-L, with all five teams 46-36 or better, and MVPs, Finals MVPs, and future HOFers galore
All gone fishin’.
Equivalent to some NFL seasons where we see all 4 teams in a division with winning records but even the best team isn't really a contender.sort of? I can’t see that happening as they’ll be moving into a new arena and want a somewhat competitive team. Running it back is really their only choice. Can’t go into a rebuild. My biggest concern is PG has three young kids and he is from here. That might make him more inclined to stay.
