I think KP Durant’d himself. Goddamn malpractice not taking him out when he started limping. They had 2-3 stoppages but asleep at the wheel.

Van Gundy says everything twice like he’s doing both parts in the old SNL news for the hard of hearing bit.

SVG is blowing his load over Boston allowing Jacquez to get open looks from 3, but that guy is shooting 27% for the series and 32% post ASB from 3. Maybe him shooting 3 is just fine.

Hopefully this is temporary for KP
I don’t think it’s SVG’s fault to be honest he has to make the game seem interesting even if it’s not.

More Bam 3PA please. 17 point lead at half is nice. Hope KP is okay.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but the Celtics with AL instead of KP are more able to lock down the Heat. Take a week off and heal up.

Well, if it's actually an ankle that would be best case scenario. Looked more like a muscle injury.

Miami just makes these games ugly as hell and the offensive execution isn’t great but they’re up 17 and Miami can’t do shit against our defense so kinda just a shrug. Please be ok Porzingis.

We knew Porzingis would go down at some point.

He just better be able to come back. Not tonight. But soon.

I got all my fingers and toes crossed for whatever happened with KP

That said, I would never imagine reading this thread that we just held the Heat to 36 points in a half, and held a double-digit lead for more or less the whole time

This is a beat down people.

And we should be able to get past the Heat and the Pacers with KP, if it comes to that

I'll take a rolled ankle with a Smart-like return from the dead (next game though), but it looked worse than that, especially with his reaction.
Yeah, I’ve never hoped for anyone to get an ankle sprain, but if a low sprain is the worst of it, we dodged a bullet. I honestly didn’t think it looked especially bad (ignoring KP’s past general fragility) until he pulled up his jersey.

KP coming back fresh for the next series would be the best outcome. Honestly reducing his playing time and increasing Al's would only help our win chances in this series with how he is getting abused.

What do you do if/when the player tells you he's ok? The player has to pull himself if he's injured. He probably didn't think it was bad.

Well that changes everything. Bubble wrap the whole season and now he gets hurt.
