The tell that Bam’s play was intentional and he knew his play was super dirty: as he stepped into Tatum’s landing space and shoved him, he turned away. Trying to make it look like he didn’t do anything wrong and that contact was incidental. It’s what middle school and high school kids do (as a coach, I’ve seen it countless times).

That's like, just your opinion, man.

I agreed that this was a flagrant while the review was going on. Every player contests post-whistle shots…..Jesus F, our own coach blocked a shot and wants them to do it!
And he was being dumb. Have you ever seen a guy go into the shooters landing space after the whistle? I’m asking honestly because I have never seen it.

Show me a rule where you get whistled for a foul after the play? I believe it can only be a technical post-whistle.
Section V(i)

Anyone guilty of illegal contact which occurs during a dead ball may be assessed (1) a technical foul, if the contact is deemed to be unsportsmanlike in nature, or (2) a flagrant foul, if unnecessary and/or excessive contact occurs.

At this rate, Bam is going to go Last Boy Scout , but it was post whistle, so all good!
It struck me the other day that after Billy Cole shot three opposing players, then himself, the Stallions still played their game the following week as scheduled.

Van Gunde really sucks.. even when complimenting White he has to say 'DWhite has been amazing.. rest of the team not so much'.. in a game where the team was smoking the heat who he couldn't help for everything they did and then a couple times for things they Almost did.

Dude our coach came on the floor to block a shot. Imagine if Spo did this and Tatum landed on him? Could you imagine this place?
If our coach had impacted a player doing that he should’ve been ejected and suspended for at least several games. If he had slid up under a guy on a practice shot I’m not sure what the right penalty would’ve been, but it probably starts at like a 10 game suspension.

Nice to have returned to ‘up well into double digits for like three quarters but when the opposing team goes on an 8-0 run we freak out’ territory.
To be fair, this team blew a 30 point lead against Cleveland and also against the Nets last season. It’s not out of character for them.

He would’ve need medical attention if Caleb Martin scored 35 points.

I'm just glad we have one less game to go against these fuckers.

And KP injury not being severe, JT being alright.

Now time to go watch some Lebron tears.

Just get up in their space, that’s always been the blueprint for this current iteration of Miami. The Miami role players were AWFUL tonight and Herro/Bam were only marginally better.

And they got a BRUTAL whistle.
I'm usually on the side of "the refs aren't screwing us" but tonight... woof, some blatant fouls not called and then soft stuff at the other end, majority favoring MIA.
Yeah, I can't get over the non-calls on the White dunks. And then they give Herro a three-point play when Holiday grazes his arm at the other end.

Yes but PLAYERS still do it every single time. Are you saying that they don’t?
Show a player contesting into a player low on a practice shot. The position of everyone else here is (1) we agree contesting practice shots is normal; (2) we cannot recall anyone ever coming close to sliding under a guy to do it. If your position is that the second one happens all the time (as opposed to that the thing we all agree upon and is not dangerous happening all the time) it’s on you to provide some evidence.

It’s always going to look ugly when you combine the Heat and hot tub time machine NBA officiating. I can’t complain about a wire to wire blowout no matter how ugly it is. They need to dispose of these fucks on Wednesday and let KP rest up.
