It’s yesterday once more as Nick Pivetta returns from the injury list to face Chris Sale as he heads to the injury list.

Thanks again, Chris, for 2018, but I don’t mind if Raffy hits one off of your coccyx, which I think is the only part of you that hasn’t been injured already.

Sale probably won't get so much as a hang nail now that he isn't with us. Look for a no hitter tonight.

I always hated Chris Sale. From the first day, he rubbed me the wrong way. I rooted for him as one of the team, like one does, but he was never my favorite. Well before the injuries and any other stuff. When I saw him interviewed, I just thought he seemed like a guy I wouldn't like. It's a stupid thing, to think we know these guys. The guys I've thought would be cool may well be assholes. They probably are. But I would not have dinner with Chris Sale, even if he were paying.

I liked Chris Sale. Loved having him on the Sox except for the whole injury issue, which, to be fair, was a dominant theme during his tenure in Boston.

I have no ill will towards him. Except for tonight. I hope he gets shelled.

Chris Sale was one of the few Sox players Cora asked to go to Puerto Rico to help after the devastating 2017 hurricane Maria. He went. Didn’t have to. I’ll always remember that.

Wilyer hasn't shown the ability to lay off sliders away so far this year. Might be an ugly night for him

I didn't know that. Now I will have to rethink my knee-jerk tendency to dislike him.
Oh, well. I hope Devers remembers how to hit with runners in scoring position. If there are runners in scoring position against a lefty pitcher.
Geaux, Sox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is Romy at 1st and not the natural 1st baseman?
I think it's to get his bat in the game, as offense, Cooper and Smith can't seem to hit this week. And assuming that he can field 1st competently, it might be for flexibility purposes later in the game, as he's a back up IF

Upon arrival at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, the plane was met by Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez, Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale, Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rosselló, and Caguas Mayor William Miranda Marin. The group then made a trip to the city of Caguas, Cora’s hometown located 16 miles south of San Juan. In Caguas, food, water, and supplies were given out to nearly 300 families.

it seems like only yesterday this superstar helped take us to the top of the world. For all we know it’s going to take some time to rebuild but we’ve only just begun.

Could quicken the process by calling occupants of interplanetary craft.

Wong or O’Neill will take him deep tonight. Whether or not the rest of the lineup does anything, I don’t know.

DOB is really going to be irritating AF tonight. He is going to repeat and beat the Chris Sale saga over and over and over and over.

I want to punch Dave in the face.
