I'm staying away from the main board for a bit, but just wanted to talk any the Mata part of this post & this forum seems like as good of a place as any...

Bit weird to write off Mata. He's 24 & has been injured all year.

The only time to trade him would have been the very brief period when he came back from injury throwing 97 (was 94 previously) & before he got hurt again.

He's actually supposed to be pitching for Worcester this weekend or early next week.

Also, a bit foolish to cash in your chips when your team isn't ready to compete & before your window opens, but we can only have that conversation so many times lol.

Failed prospects that they no longer have are of course fair to complain about.

Yeah, I am enjoying the Teel experience, but I have more reservations about him than Roman.

Cellucci has pitched 2 scoreless innings. I vote they let him pitch the 9th for the 3-inning save. He's thrown 29 pitches.

Dalbec was 2-4.
