I’m still rooting for Groome, guy has worked hard his stuff just never came back after the injuries. Rough year though, 7 Bb/9, 2+ WHIP, 8+ ERA

Yeah, I feel like I've made enough anti-Groome posts so I let it go on this one lol.

It's a good blue print for a trade I hope they're able to make with a guy like Walter this off season. Slightly different scenario, but we got Rosier & Ferguson for Groome, & if we could get a couple further away flyers for Walter to clear that 40-man spot, I would be happy.

Kluber (& the other team) each pitched 1-2-3 1st innings with 1 strikeout, & then hell froze over & the game has been delayed due to the resulting lightning.

I'm not a meteorologist.

Mayer or Bonaci instead of McDonough & Rosier instead of Lugo or Sikes & that Portland lineup would be even better, but oh well.

Yesterday's "Wikelman" better than today's Wikelman so far.

Yesterday's "Wikelman" better than today's Wikelman so far.
Actual Wikelman not bad, though - 1 walk & 2 strikeouts in a scoreless 1st. But it took 23 pitches.

Wikelman started his 2nd inning with a walk, a wild pitch & a single for 1st & 3rd 0 out. He got a lineout to 3rd, but then walked another guy.

Bases loaded, 1 out.

Going to chalk this leadoff double off Perales up as a defense problem...

Frederick Bencosme doubles (18) on a ground ball to center fielder Allan Castro, deflected by second baseman Kristian Campbell.
