Kluber (& the other team) each pitched 1-2-3 1st innings with 1 strikeout, & then hell froze over & the game has been delayed due to the resulting lightning.

I'm not a meteorologist.
Not sure if they were planning on pitching Kluber a 2nd inning or not after his 13 pitch 1st, but they definitely weren't going to agree the ice delay.

Andrés Núñez in for the 2nd.

& a lineout to end the inning. 49 pitches through 2 scoreless innings for Wikelman.
Wikelman struck out the side in the 3rd, with a single mixed in.

65 pitches.

Núñez pitched 1.1 innings & allowed 2 hits & struck out 2.

Justin Hagenman came in & got out of the 3rd unscathed.

Yeah, Portland is pretty stacked. Rest of the teams at the moment? Not so much.

Hagenman pitched 2.2 scoreless with 2 hits, 2 walks & 5 strikeouts.

Justin Garza allowed a run in 2 innings, & Logan Gillaspie pitched a 1-2-3 8th with a strikeout.

That, combined with a couple homers by Dalbec & Kavadas, had Worcester up 2-1 heading to the bottom of the 9th.

Unfortunately Luis Guerrero couldn't find the broad side of a barn, walking 4 & allowing 1 hit on his way to allowing 2 runs in 0.1 innings & Worcester losing 3-2. He threw 11 strikes in 30 pitches.

Fitzgerald & Zimmer each had 2 walks.

Going to chalk this leadoff double off Perales up as a defense problem...
Yet another tough day for Perales.

5 IP
4 runs
3 earned
6 hits
2 walks
2 homers
3 strikeouts

90 pitches, 58 strikes.

Nate Tellier allowed 2 runs, 1 earned, in the 6th.

Reidis Sena shows that he deserves that SP60 slot with a 1-2-3 7th with a strikeout.

Brock Bell allowed a hit, a walk & an unearned run in the 8th. Not exactly a defensive clinic out there (4 errors & 3 unearned runs).

Greenville lost 7-3.

Eddinson Paulino was 2-5.

Kristian Campbell was 1-4 with a double & a walk.

Rosario & Jimenez were 1-3 with a walk.

Perales is more than double his innings from last year, have to wonder if he's just hit a wall. Monegro is in the same situation too.

I was just about to look into this, and you had already done it. Thanks!

Have some tough family and work stuff over the past month, so haven’t watched much on tv, seems like Wilyer is getting CF time with the Duran injury.
46/65 innings so far. If Wilyer is at least a rotational guy in all 3 spots, that’s more interesting than corner-only.

I don't think he's going to be good enough defensively to stick there, but it's definitely nice to have it as an option.

Tiny sample size, according to Fangraphs he's saved them a run with his arm & cost them a run with his fielding.
