Does David Pastrnak get the love and attention he deserves? Who knows…it’s impossible to quantify. But I get the sense that he’s on the lower end of the spectrum of Boston players who have accomplished as much as he has in his career thus far and who is as incredible all around as he is.
Am I wrong? Maybe it’s a faulty impression and he is in fact fully appreciated. That he’s thrived as much as he has with Bergy and Krejci gone this year is remarkable.
Putting that aside, who is the best comp for him? The player he reminds me the most of is Mike Bossy. I don’t remember a bigger sniper in a Boston uniform than Pasta and so many times he looks like Bossy with his laser shot goals.
There’s a lot more to talk about than his attention level and who his best comp is.
