The " Match of the day" recap that shows about 10 minutes of all of the games as a summary / highlights package is pretty awesome.

Of course I'd rather they all be on my giant TV, but I will be in rural North Carolina next weekend, and I am absolutely giddy that I will be able to watch any football match I want all morning and early afternoon, followed by another 10 hours of college football.
Pumped and jacked.

No full replays for me either (Cox). "There are no full event replays right now" is the message I'm seeing. Seems like an NBC issue.TheJodyReedExperience said:Does anyone have full replays of games available to them through the Live Extra app? I hope we never show up on NBC, and turn into Whitney or something.soxfan121 said:Get to know a fascist this Saturday on NBC. We'll also be getting lots of Villa & Everton games on NBC as the season goes on.
And you're just jealous that Tottenham sold off their slot as NBC's go-to team.

mabrowndog said:Yeah, all in all it's a pretty messed up arrangement. First off, being relatively new to following BPL I'm not sure why they're showing all 10 fixtures at once. Is this some sort of tradition where all of the final Sunday's games start at 3 pm GMT? It seems that staggering the start times similar to a typical Saturday would yield wider and more sustained viewership with higher ad revenues, no? If the various races were still left undetermined heading into Sunday, would fans really be expected to switch around between up to 10 games going on at the same time?

Dummy's point about not wanting results to affect outcomes makes some sense, I suppose.

It was really amazing 2 years ago with the ManU game ending just minutes before the Kun Aguero goal.

Mix the optimism of the Liverpool contingent with the restless Gunners, toss in the fatalism and humor of the Newcastle hostages, make sure Zomp is there so everyone has a target, let the Spurs guys hang out in the back grimly staring down mgoblue2 and allaboutthesox and let the PRBot post in blue. It'll be awesome.

I'm sold. Maybe next year they can show games on Lifetime and Oprah's network, too.
Yeah, Blackpool briefly had the lead at Old Trafford, but ended up going behind on, of all things, an own goal.mgoblue2 said:EDIT- SFIC, was that the year Blackpool took the lead against United but ended up going down? I remember that year.
