JerBear said:I think I could take this guy later, but I don't have anyone else prepared and I don't want to hold everyone up. He's currently a FA, has injury concerns, is old but he's my extra front-7 guy and if he plays this season it will be for a contender. I think he still has some left in the tank, but he isn't an every down guy anymore.
Texans select Brian Urlacher, LB (extra front-7, ILB2 in my case with the 4-3 base)
Its also a great excuse to post this gif...

My offense looks a lot weaker with Crabtree apparently out for the season.

Nice tactical turtleneck. Looks like he's really buying in.

That's the same knee brace Brady uses.

This is above average trash talk?phragle said:
I wouldn't call Brady a toothpick.
When I saw you replied to this thread I thought for sure there was going to be a clever line about JJ Watt and his arm brace. But no, you failed.
Am I there only one here capable of above average trash talk? Myt1 maybe? KFP? This place must have been a fucking snore before I got here.

Free has struggled immensely with penalties and against anyone with even a modicum of bull-rushing ability. Perhaps he’ll bounce back and regain his pre-contract form of 2010, but all evidence from the past two years suggests he’s somehow getting worse.
I'm slightly more bullish on Free - otherwise I wouldn't have drafted him - but yes, he's clearly the weak link. He was, at that point, the best of what's around at RT. And that had been picked pretty bare, so yeah, he kinda sucks. We're probably looking at more than a few double-teams on the right side, so I probably should have gone with a better blocking TE rather than Hester... but WWADHD? He'd have drafted speed.SMU_Sox said:4/5 guys you have on your OL are studs. Kalil, Okung, and Nicks are all coming off of injuries but are legit stars. But Doug Free is a turnstyle:
Football Outsiders.
But if 4/5 of your O-Line are top 3, 5 or 10 in the NFL and you only have one dud? You can deal with that.
