Much more entertaining second period. Both teams pretty good with breaking pressure and keeping possession. Stars may regret missing these opportunities to make it 2-0.

Faksa put the Stars back ahead early in the 3rd. Seeing-eye backhand shot that changed directions at least once.

For a game with few penalties, I don’t like that. Either it is interference (it wasn’t) or nothing. It was not a traditional check and keepers get less leeway, but I don’t see tripping.

Because it's not a penalty. That's just a terrible call, made worse because game 7. Just officiating malpractice

Really is the best game you can name.

37 years and nearly 3,000 games played combined for Suter and Little Joe without a cup, but the dream is still alive.

The west is a gauntlet, but Dallas has the ingredients to get to the finals — goalkeeping, really strong on the forecheck, and solid defense to offense transition. That might have been their hardest round. The other three teams are equal or better in some areas but also have flaws.

Oilers should be the favorites to get out of the west, but this is a good Dallas team.
