Still a little slurred.
He talked about enjoying the fact that he's working on everyday, mechanical things such as keeping his back foot steady when he swings as opposed to "just hit the ball"
He talked about the Dominican winter league and how 2 or 3 of the first 4 pitchers he faced were lefties and how he saw lots of breaking balls. Also said he got HBP and said it never felt better.
Said his specific goals right now are to get comfortable once again in playing in games regularly.
"I'm gonna get a lot of at-bats. I don't know where, I don't know when but it's gonna happen"
"I'm willing to test the limits and push myself as long as i can until someone tells me i can't."
"90% baseball activity now, 10% rehab stuff"
He hopes to get out of Fort Myers this year.
Overall, while his speech was a bit slurred, I thought he was "quick" with responses and didn't struggle to get anything out, which, to me, is a positive sign.
