All I could think reading his column today was "How much does this guy love the smell of his own farts?"
Like 75% of the column waxes poetic about friends of his in the industry, wine, the Red Sox, or other non-on-the-field football topics.
He really barely even writes about what's happening in the game anymore. It's just a bunch of random facts about himself and his football friends. I mean, holy shit was that a bad column this morning; literally all-time horrendous football "coverage." It may go down as one of the worst pieces of football journalism over 1,000 words of all time.
I don't think he even made any mention whatsoever of like half the games played yesterday, yet he spent time writing about how much he loves some shitty wine no matter the vintage. What a dope, and I actually used to like him, overall, as long as he kept his personal anecdotes to a minimum. Now they're completely overtaking the column.
