Propose a former player who is a person of color who might be willing. I am sort of drawing a blank, b/c although former black players like Pedro, Ortiz and Vaughan would be fun, they are not going to be interested. Unfortunately, listening to Ellis Burks was like watching paint dry.D O'B and four other white guys. They all sounded good last year, but it might be nice to have a broader perspective.
Agreed. Shitcan O'Brien. Then figure out the other bit.D O'B and four other white guys. They all sounded good last year, but it might be nice to have a broader perspective.
So what happens to Lou? I thought he was practically telegraphing going to NESN, not the radio broadcasts (unless I missed that).I'm okay with this. I really that Merloni was going to be the guy, but Youk is just as good.
I'm not in the business so that's not my job. But off the top of my head, Flash Gordon sounded OK when I heard him, not sure what his interest is. Also there's an entire universe of Latin broadcasters covering MLB in American markets all year, for some time now. Must be some good candidates who would be fine with the English-language side of the house. Latino players are around 30% of the game, so it feels like having a Latino voice in the mix should be a priority.Propose a former player who is a person of color who might be willing.
