Dear Floriduh,

Congrats on the sex. You must be very happy right now. Unfortunately, you are about to enter hell.

I’ve heard a lot of people talking about how it was a bad idea for Pastrnak to fight Tkachuk. And the truth is that it was actually a bad idea for Tkachuk to fight Pastrnak. Because what you didn’t realize is that you threw your best shot at us, and we’re still fucking here. Is Tarasenko gonna throw down with Maroon? Fuck no. What do you think would happen if Swayman and Bob got in a fight? Bob can’t even stay on his feet when the puck hits him, let alone the hand of god. And Paul Maurice? I’ll take Monty against him 11 out of 10 times. Dude probably had so many wedgies in middle school that he had to switch to crotchless underwear as a safety measure.

So I hope you enjoyed the last 48 hours. The next 5 days will be the worst of your life until we finally release you to the 2024-25 season at approximately 9:45PM on Tuesday, May 14. If you are interested in exploring Boston while here, Cheers is great.

Rip their heads off.

Peeke is available tonight.

They did not do line rushes but apparently Boqvist was out skating early with Grzelyck and Poitras which suggests he'll be scratched. Heinen is still day-to-day according to Monty and they sent Brown back to Providence so that would seem to indicate Lauko is going in.

Just a guess:

Marchand - Coyle - DeBrusk
Zacha - Geekie - Pastrnak
van Riemsdyk - Frederic - Brazeau
Lauko - Beecher - Maroon

Lohrei - McAvoy
Lindholm - Carlo
Wotherspoon - Peeke

Forbort over Wotherspoon with Peeke back is fucked up
I’ll never get what they see in Forbort. He’s slow, handles the puck like a grenade, and despite being a 6’ 4” defenseman, he doesn’t give them much physically either. I guess he can block a shot here and there, right before he gets beat to the loose puck, or throws the clearing attempt right to the other team.

This. Wotherspoon should be in instead of Forbort.

We need to pick a horrible shot to take, communally, every time the Bruins get a too many men on the ice penalty for the rest of the playoffs. If you’re on the wagon, you have to do a shot of Tabasco and Moxie Cola.

But other than that . . . . .

('bort over 'spoon seems very sub-optimal)

Shouldnt we make Monty do this instead??

Forbort has naked pictures of Sweeney and Neely its the only explanation of him continuing to see the ice over better options. It makes absolutely zero sense. You're struggling to break the puck out and your solution is to keep using a defenseman who struggles to get the puck out and does nothing well aside from occasionally blocking shots.

I pray for the poetic justice of him losing a bunch of teeth with a shot to the face while he uses his mouth guard as a chew toy instead of to actually guard his mouth.
