Hollywood Zarba baby. Loves to go to the replay areaThe primary thing with Zarba over time is that he loves to be on camera.
So, he's right on point tonight

Once again, Knicks Muse has let me down.
This won't matter at all according to the local Knicks fans here.Hart 48 mins
Brunson 44 mins
DeVincenzo 44 mins
Yea, I'm in a few knicks chats. None of us are happy with the style of play that game or the ugliness of the last 2 minutes. A win is a win, though. We're guaranteed get an opposite whistle at some point.Knicks are a tough team, and tough to put away. But there was some bullshit in there that's for sure.
Yeah, from my biased Knicks perspective, they seemed to miss stuff evenly both ways (like those 2 kickballs, both with weird replay involvement) until that completely unnecessary moving screen call on Turner.Refs missed the kick ball on Indiana so it wasn't quite as one-sided as you'd think.
You should totally replace Thibs as coach. He absolutely isn't aware of the minutes of his players and potential ramifications. Especially not because he's gotten asked this question in every post game since like November. This won't matter at all according to the local Knicks fans here.
The problem with Halliburton is that he's not good (right now), but you have to play him.Lost in the ref-show..... Carlisle did not go to his bench (his team's advantage) at all in the 4th, he just watched his guys get beat, and never even considered whether putting in the guy who hounded Brunson or the guy who was keeping NYK off the glass might be a good idea.
They actually didn't I don't think, they ruled no foul and that IND would have recovered, they don't continue past the whistle in a review.Refs missed the kick ball on Indiana so it wasn't quite as one-sided as you'd think.
you don't have to play him the whole 4th.The problem with Halliburton is that he's not good (right now), but you have to play him.
Didn't know that. Funny that they can presume a team will recover possession but can't assume that a kickball that actually happened would happen. They actually didn't I don't think, they ruled no foul and that IND would have recovered, they don't continue past the whistle in a review.
Actually might not be, now seeing it again I think they ruled the foot was not moved into the ball, which is probably the right call, and THEN they stopped the play.Didn't know that. Funny that they can presume a team will recover possession but can't assume that a kickball that actually happened would happen.
I guess we'll see.. he loves running his players into the ground and yes he knows it.. not sure why that matters? If the Knicks get to the ECF it will be the first time a team coached by him has got that far.You should totally replace Thibs as coach. He absolutely isn't aware of the minutes of his players and potential ramifications. Especially not because he's gotten asked this question in every post game since like November.
Or look on the other side of the court. Sit someone like McConnell and wish you hadn't.
I'm not sure the L2M will vindicate the Pacers. The valid argument is really just that that call on DiVincenzo is a rare and unusual call, not that it's wrong. So far in the 7 NY playoff games I've watched, the last 2 minutes of every game is a total godamn guessing game on how the refs are going to call shit. I don't understand it. It's like a coin flip between "let them play" and "call random shit but not other random shit"You know they have somebody in the league office grinding this tape with a stopwatch looking for 3 second calls to try and balance out the L2M for tomorrow.
the kick ball was the truly attrocious call.I'm not sure the L2M will vindicate the Pacers. No, to me it is an incorrect call that is also wildly inappropriate in that situation. L2M won’t say so, but people who watch basketball know it was an awful call.I'm not sure the L2M will vindicate the Pacers. I think next game. We're guaranteed get an opposite whistle at some point.
It is inapropriate in the situation mainly because it is ignored the rest of the game. It is absolutely the correct call and something we all have bitched about during the Miami series with BamNo, to me it is an incorrect call that is also wildly inappropriate in that situation. L2M won’t say so, but people who watch basketball know it was an awful call.
I overall agree with you. It's not sustainable for hart to play 48 minutes every game. We're going to see what the result of it is because I'm not sure they're getting anything from the bench.I guess we'll see.. he loves running his players into the ground and yes he knows it.. not sure why that matters? If the Knicks get to the ECF it will be the first time a team coached by him has got that far.
edit: none of this may matter, but we've definitely seen teams at least seem to get tired. And it's not like the idea of running teams with short rotations is anything new. Who knows why Thibodeau's teams don't win..maybe this Knicks team has what it takes.
Gifted the Knicks that win.All I'll say is its nice to finally be on the receiving end of a nice whistle after the fucking sixers series.
Yeah.. I wasn't trying to be a dick, but if the Knicks basically go to an 8 man rotation (in basically name only) they're going to be dog tired if they get to the finals.I overall agree with you. It's not sustainable for hart to play 48 minutes every game. We're going to see what the result of it is because I'm not sure they're getting anything from the bench.
You misunderstand the rule and the call.It is inapropriate in the situation mainly because it is ignored the rest of the game. It is absolutely the correct call and something we all have bitched about during the Miami series with Bam
Let’s see what Stephen A says tomorrow morning.I think next game.
On the flip side, inbound the ball correctly, that was at least 6 or 7 points handed away.Hartenstein's Heave ended up being pretty significant.
There was a major adjustment on defense. I think the first half of this game was both teams trying to figure each other out. The Knicks finally did it once they realized Mitch was a slob tonight.Edit: to their credit.. the Knicks seemed to gain energy as the game went on and maybe benefitted them by the end to come back from 10 down late.
They need to play Achiuwa more, he had four blocks in 20 minutes in game 4 of the PHI series and didn't play the next two games at all, then just 4 minutes tonight.I overall agree with you. It's not sustainable for hart to play 48 minutes every game. We're going to see what the result of it is because I'm not sure they're getting anything from the bench.
Was confused about where he was all game. And Deuce too. They need to play Achiuwa more, he had four blocks in 20 minutes in game 4 of the PHI series and didn't play the next two games at all, then just 4 minutes tonight.
Yeah, he has disappeared the last few games like Quickley did all last postseason, and NY really can't afford that with this set of personnel.Edit: Deuce had a very invisible 11 minutes
Maybe I missed it. What was the other half of the rule that applied here? You misunderstand the rule and the call.
bam moves while setting screens—what’s the violation we all talk about. Turner didn’t move nor did they suggest he did. They called the other half of the rule- which you virtually never see and no one was talking about last series.
I do believe there was time for defender to react there. Thus, incorrect call. That divincenzo could flop is part of how you know there was time to react
it’s a truly awful call
Just make obvious ones be called from NY. In the 20 seconds it takes to get everyone checked in and out of bounds sorted, half these obvious calls could just be radioed inJust make everything reviewable and let coaches take their chances.
Heh, this is of course correct but this is how Thibs rolls, especially with no Randle/Bogdanovic, and it has been working so far.Yeah.. I wasn't trying to be a dick, but if the Knicks basically go to an 8 man rotation (in basically name only) they're going to be dog tired if they get to the finals.
Thibs got to the ECF his first year as a HC. 2011 Bulls got to the ECF and even won game 1 against Miami before losing 4 straight.I guess we'll see.. he loves running his players into the ground and yes he knows it.. not sure why that matters? If the Knicks get to the ECF it will be the first time a team coached by him has got that far.

Yeah, they need to vest more power in the replay center if they want replay to be workable.Just make obvious ones be called from NY. In the 20 seconds it takes to get everyone checked in and out of bounds sorted, half these obvious calls could just be radioed in
